    Direct answer

EntityFlo maintains the ACRA register of registrable controllers for Singapore companies. Controllers are derived from live ownership and control data across the group, recalculated when structures change, and evidenced for audit.

    The problem

What breaks once you pass five entities.

    01

Controllers are calculated, not typed in

Significant interest and significant control run through holding companies and trusts, so a spreadsheet of names goes stale on the first restructure.

    02

The register must be kept, not produced on request

Every Singapore company must maintain the register from incorporation and record changes within two business days of being notified.

    03

One structure change breaks several registers

A single share transfer at the top of the group can shift controllers in every entity beneath it.

    What you get

Built for complex Singapore holding structures

For groups where a Singapore entity sits under foreign parents, trusts or fund structures and controllers are not obvious from the share register alone.

    Look-through across every layer

Ownership chains are traced through holding companies, trusts and foreign parents to the natural persons behind them.

    Control as well as interest

Voting rights, board appointment rights and other control levers are captured, not just percentage shareholdings.

    Changes surfaced immediately

A share transfer or officer change flags every controller register it affects, so the two-business-day window is met.

    Audit-ready evidence

Every controller determination keeps its calculation trail and source data for inspection.

    How it works

    The EntityFlo operating model.

    1

Map ownership and control across every entity, including foreign parents and trusts.

    2

Calculate significant interest and significant control through each layer.

    3

Identify the registrable controllers for each Singapore entity automatically.

    4

Flag changes as soon as ownership or control data moves.

    5

Produce the maintained register and supporting evidence on demand.

    The split

    What controller compliance actually covers

The register is only defensible if the underlying ownership and control data is correct and current.

    FAQ

    The questions buyers actually ask.

    Who is a registrable controller?

An individual or legal entity with significant interest in, or significant control over, the company: commonly more than 25% of shares or voting rights, or the ability to control the board.

How quickly must changes be recorded?

Within two business days of the company being notified of the change.

Does the register need to be filed with ACRA?

Controller information is lodged with ACRA's central register, and the company must also maintain its own register at all times.

Does EntityFlo handle trusts in the chain?

Yes. Trustees, appointors and beneficiaries are modelled so control through trust structures is traced to natural persons.

Can it cover UK PSC and Canadian ISC obligations too?

Yes. The same ownership and control model drives Singapore controllers, UK PSC, Canadian ISC and Australian UBO records.

    Keep the controller register defensible

Controllers derived from live ownership data across every entity. First entity free, forever.
