How to update a business-name address with ASIC

Source review: 2026-11-06. General procedural information, not legal or tax advice. Check the linked ASIC instructions before lodging; forms, fees and portal screens can change.

    Before you start

    • Identify the linked business name and the address or email that has changed.
    • Have authorised ASIC Connect access and the new details available.

    How to complete the process

    • Sign in to ASIC Connect and choose Lodgements and notifications.
    • Select the business name and the address-change transaction.
    • Enter the required business-name address changes, including email where relevant.
    • Review and submit within 28 days of the change; keep acknowledgment.

    After lodgement or completion

    • Check the linked business-name record and the destination for future notices.

    Important limits and exceptions

Company addresses and business-name addresses are separate records. If both change, complete the applicable transactions for both.

    Keeping the company record complete

Keep approvals, consents, submitted documents and lodgement receipts with the entity record. EntityFlo can help organise records and supported workflows; guidance about a form does not mean EntityFlo supports direct lodgement of that form. Website FloSec cannot sign, lodge or access your private company records.
